January...wow....definitely the month I watched anime...a lot. So prepare for a ton of anime named.
Movies: Big Hero 6 Plot: The special bond that develops between plus-sized inflatable robot Baymax, and prodigy Hiro Hamada, who team up with a group of friends to form a band of high-tech heroes. Trailer:

Anime:    (in order from my fav)

1. Blue Exorcist: After discovering that he's the son of Satan, a young man must join the True Cross Academy in order to master his abilities and defeat Satan himself.
2. Tokyo Ghoul: Ken Kaneki barely survives a deadly encounter with Rize Kamishiro, a woman who is revealed to be a ghoul, a human-like creature that hunts and devours human flesh. He is taken to the hospital in critical condition. After recovering, Kaneki discovers that somehow he underwent a surgery that transformed him into a half-ghoul and just like them, he must consume human flesh to survive as well.
3. Attack on Titan: After his hometown is destroyed and his mother is killed, young Eren Jaegar vows to cleanse the earth of the giant humanoid Titans that have brought humanity to the brink of extinction.
4. Sword Art Online: In the year 2022, thousands of people get trapped in a new virtual MMORPG and the lone wolf player, Kirito, works to escape.
5. Fullmetal Alchemist: The Elric brothers' deciding to perform a forbidden human transmutation to bring their dead mother back, they end up losing their bodies. Now Edward must find the chemical privileges to restore their body back.
6. Code: Breaker: An ordinary high school girl makes it her mission to stop supernatural assassins from killing morally corrupt.
7. Nobunagun: During a field trip, Shio, is revealed to be an "E-Gene Holders", a person who wield weapons infused with the spirits of historical figures. The soul of Oda Nobunaga awakens after she tries to rescue a friend.
8. Nuraihyon no Mago: Rikuo Nura is 3/4 human and 1/4 yōkai. He has a human form in the day but transforms into his yōkai form at night. He lives in a house full of yōkai along with his yōkai grandfather. Trying to escape his fate, he does good deeds in order to avoid becoming a yōkai, despite his grandfather's wish that Rikuo succeed him as the Third Head of the Nura Clan. Rikuo is different because he helps humans. he eventually comes to terms with his yōkai blood and decides to take up the position of the Third Head of the Nura Clan. Multiple factions aim to stop him or usurp his position and he must gather friends and allies, a new Hyakki Yakō under his banner of "Fear".
