Melbourne Shuffle

Melbourne Shuffle is a dance form that originated in the underground party scene in Melbourne in the late 80s. Melbourne Shuffle is associated with trance or more appropriately, hardstyle music. The beats are fast and so are the movements.
Melbourne Shuffle requires movements of the heel and the toe, which make the person look like they are 'shuffling' from one place to the other. Most people who do the Melbourne Shuffle prefer to do it in the club, back yards, parking lots, streets, etc. Basically wherever.
A person who does the Melbourne Shuffle is called a shuffler in general. Each shuffler makes up their own name later on, examples are Impact, BoneZ, Typhoon, Eneme, Dusk, Zombie, Calippo, Ravenn, etc.

There is one thing, most people in the Melbourne Shuffle community, do not appreciate the shuffle that LMFAO created, they do not even consider it as a shuffle.

Melbourne Shuffle also acts like a great huge family. More particularly the 'family' connection is defined when a shuffler belongs to a group of other shufflers, examples of groups are HSU [Hardstyle Underground], HSK [Hardstyle Killers], LE [Legendarius Extreme], HM [Hardstyle Movement], HSA [Addicted to Hardstyle], etc.

One of my favourite shufflers is Impact, he is also the Founder and Co-Leader of HSU. He describes shuffling perfectly...
"For the ignorant majority Raves and it's music are misunderstood. Boys and girls are ment to loose them selves in the music and escape into the atmosphere of the harder dance styles. For one night or more, all the worries of work, school and family fade away into the lights, love, melody and bass of Hardstyle. The crazy speed and energy of Hardstyle shuffling reflects the value. Hardstyle shuffling has their own culture that will help any person at any age to escape from all the bullshit in the world. [:"

Items needed for shuffling:
- Phat Pants ~ they are narrow at the waist and then keep getting wider down to the legs. Shufflers usually decorate the phat pants with reflective strips and designs. They are also very comfortable when shuffling.
- Flat Soled Shoes ~ Forget shuffling in your big boots, heels or any other shoes. Flat soled shoes make is much easier to shuffle in and also fits in better with the outfit.
- A Hoodie ~ It makes you look the part. You will never spot the average shuffler without a Hoodie. Let's call it a clothing essential for the Melbourne Shuffle.

The Melbourne Shuffle also has its logo, that is recognised by many. This is it:

PHD means Pure Hard Dance.

This is a photo of a classic looking shuffler:

Also to view people shuffling go on my YouTube channel, there I have 2 playlists of shufflers.

The Melbourne Shuffle consists of many steps, but the two basic ones are the running man and the t-step. It takes a matter of time to learn how to shuffle for some it takes 2 weeks, but for others 2-3 months. It will only be a matter of time before you master it. First couple of times it will not look smooth and not the best, but practising often and it will get better. Easy way to practice is to have socks on and do it on a wooden floor, this way you will get the hang of it and it is easier to glide on wooden floors.
Tutorials of how to shuffle can be found on YouTube, but remember one thing - you create your own type of shuffle, your hand movement and feet movement maybe difference, when adding on different steps. There is no specific way to do each move, one may do the running man and add some tricks to it, some may not. It all depends on you.

Zombie Apocalypse Tag

1. Which three Youtubers would you have in your team?
PewDiePie (Felix Arvid ulf Kjellberg) - he plays a lot of video games and probably will know what to do. One of my favourite YouTubers also.
Patty Walters - he is like the nicest person in the world. Also, I heard that when he gets angry that it is terrifying and it would be good when he would channel that anger towards a zombie. He is also one of my favourite YouTubers. I met him. <3
Cryaotic - I don't know why. His laugh <333333 He makes me happy when watching his videos. His voice <333333 Also a bit curious of how he looks (who isn't?). He is also chill, will need a person who can just be chill about everything.
2. The object immediately to your left is your only weapon. How fucked are you?
Scissors - I can stab them, injure them, throw them, cut something with them, open something with them, etc. If attacking someone, the downside is that I have to get close to them, which can potentially injure myself.
Pokeball with a Pikachu - PIKACHU I CHOOSE YOU! USE QUICK ATTACK FULL SPEED! NOW GRAB ONTO HIM AND USE THUNDERBOLT!
USB - WTF am I gonna do with that?!
3. If you were a zombie, who would you want to bite?
If I would be a zombie, would I still think as me? or would I just be mindlessly wanting to bite anyone? If I could choose it would probably be someone cute. :P
4. What would your survival plan be?
Collect as many weapons, supplies. Never stay in one place too long. Group as many people together and supplies as I can. Make a survival camp, if one is not available nearby. If people will stick together there is a larger chance to survive zombie attacks and also defeat many of them.
5. What would you do if your parents became zombies?
This is truly hard. In a way I would not like them to harm anyone and if they don't have part of themselves (directing to the mind - if they are mindless), then I would kill them. It's will be painful, but I can't just let them harm anyone else. If there is a possibility I would put them in some kind of closer, like a cell.
6. Do you want the zombie apocalypse to happen?
FUCK NO! I have watches too many movies and played to many video games with a zombie apocalypse plot line and I know what will happen most likely.

 photo 1827972700063522020813_zpse86eb856.png

The Death Tag

1. How do you want to die?
I would like to do die either peacefully (such as when sleeping) or a quick death (such as shot in the head).
2. What will happen to your YouTube channel?
Since I don't have a proper YouTube channel, then I don't know. I want to maybe make some YouTube videos, unfortunately I am very shy. I do post at time music related videos.
3. Who will you leave your money to?
My family.
4. What will happen to your body?
Buried in a coffin. With a bell. So if I am going to be by accident still alive, I can just pull the string and the bell will ring. One of my worst fears is being buried alive.
5. What do you want your funeral to be like?
Just close family and friends. Not an open casket, because I don't like people staring at me, especially when I would be dead.
6. What will you miss the most that will exist after your death?
Something magical. Teleportation, when someone finds out that a mystical creature (e.g. vampire, banshee, witch, werewolf, etc.) exist, a super power, better technology (laptops, computers, phones), faster internet, a new invention (e.g. flying car). I hope people will still read hardcover books.
Yes I live in my mystical magical world. :P
7. How will you want to be remembered?
This I don't know. I don't have to be remembered as someone famous. I want to be remembered as how I am truly. I can be at times bad (I doubt that it is only me that is like that [I mean bad as in sometimes annoying, bitchy or quite angry]), but at times I can be rather shy. This shyness doesn't allow my true self to be visible. I believe that I am kind, loving and helping (I try to be). This is what I want to be remembered as. :)

Spooky Asks

Vampire: Someone offers you a chance of immortality. Do you take it, and why or why not?
To me immortality is this:
Positive - live forever
Negative - will be lonely
To evaluate, living forever I could travel the world, enjoy life, etc. Negatively, being lonely I could never have a boyfriend (he will probably not be immortal and die), I will see my friends and family die. That means if I would want to avoid the view of death, I could never have a friend, boyfriend, loose connection with my family, but that would mean being lonely and sad.
In conclusion I would say I think 'no', but honestly I don't know until that moment occurs how I will react.

Werewolf: If you had to spend you life with just one person, who would it be?
I would probably spend my life with my soulmate. If such a thing exists.

Witch: If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be?
It is a hard choice. There is so much that I would change in the world.
Religion is one. It caused nothing but trouble. Too many deaths, fights, pain and anguish. Maybe if everyone could respect each religion the world would be better.
I have found this, answers to a survey relating to this question. These answers are all relevant. I am not saying that I agree with all of these answers, but it shows that people have their own opinions to this questions and some of these should be considered, because they can change the world.
http://hublog.hubmed.org/files/survey/18.htm

Ghost: Do you have any regrets?
I don't think so, but am I person who blocks out, makes a barrier in particular occasions. So I might of just forgot.

Frankenstein: Is someone telling you how to live your life, or are you an independent person?
People usually pressure me to do certain stuff. At times I have get pressured and the barrier breaks and I do them. Example: My friends and family saying all the time that doing Italian for my 200 hour course is a good thing. In a way it is, but I wasn't 100% keen on it. Most of the time I am independent and live my life like I want to.

Mummy: If you were to fall into an eternal sleep, do you think anyone would miss you?
My first instinct was to say 'no' and part of me believes that. I think the only person who would of missed me would be my Mum. At least I hope so. I don't believe that anyone else would of missed me. Who would of missed a person such as me?

Zombie: Do you miss anyone right now?
I miss my Mum, she doesn't come home that often. :(
I will miss my grandma, she is leaving back to Poland. :(
I miss my best friend. :(

Faerie: If you could get away with anything, what would you do?
Probably steal something, but I am not sure.

Nymph: What are you like when you're by yourself?
I am usually quiet, it really depends on my mood. Like I said I am usually quiet, 90% of the time. If I am home alone, tho I can be at times loud. (Put my hardstyle music on speakers)

Mermaid: How far would you go to keep the one you love?
I wouldn't do anything that fundamentally goes against my nature. So I can't really know until I'm in that position, but I can't imagine I'd like kill someone or something...

Shapeshifter: What would you change about yourself?
  • Stop procrastinating
  • Change how I look (become thinner, lighter hair colour, have no lazy eye, etc.)
  • Become photogenic

Banshee: If you knew one of your loved ones/best friends had only one day left to live, how would you spend that last day with them?
I would spend the most time I could with them and enjoy it. We would do something that isn't something that we do normally or do again a memory, such as maybe climb a roof top and eat ice-cream and talk there or go shopping/ out the whole night or go to an amusement park at night, etc.

Siren: If you could make anyone do anything, what would you make them do?
I would probably stop people from being such assholes. Sorry for the inappropriate language.

Genie: If you had one wish that would come true and couldn't be reversed, what would you ask for?
I honestly don't know. I think I sat here for more than 30 minutes contemplating what I would wish for, but nothing came into my mind.

Fury: What is a word/phrase that you dread to hear?
"Fat"- it is an awful word, should be in my opinion banned, if someone has to say it they should say 'overweight'.
"We need to talk" - That practically never leads to a good conversation
I have a bunch more, but can't remember them now.

Incubus: What would someone have to do to get in your pants?
We would have to have some kind of chemistry, known each other for sometime, trust each other, etc.

Succubus: What's one thing you can't live without?
I don't know.
The smart ass me would say - oxygen
The hipster me would say - coffee and tea
The childish me would say - my toy plush dog
The mature me would say - family and friends
But I would say - music, internet, electronics, books

Comparison Chart of Wicca and Christianity

Since this month is the month of Halloween, it got me to search up witches and supernatural creatures. All of that searching lead me to the religion Wicca. I am not saying that Wiccan people are witches (in the mean of witches in movies [most of the time portrayed evil, satanic]). I am saying in a way that witches on TV (the good ones that have magic and do spells) are similar in the aspect of believing in magic. Many Wiccans believe in magic, a manipulative force exercised through the practice of witchcraft or sorcery.
Whilst searching up information about Wicca I have heard a lot of unnecessary rude comments about this religion. I believe that even when you don't believe a different persons religion, you should at least respect it.
The dominant religion of the world is Christianity, so I thought of doing a comparison of Wicca and Christianity. I built the chart in Microsoft Word and then copied it, i'm not sure how to build a chart on Blogger. Sorry.

October the Month of Halloween

I would say that October is one of my favourite months of the years just, because it has Halloween. I love Halloween. It is a day that with candy, horror movies, creepy/scary stuff and most of all the remembering the deceased. The true meaning of Halloween has disappeared, which is disappointing. So I thought of that in the month October I will post stuff that are related to Halloween. Maybe some won't be 100% related, but will be creepy/ scary. :)

A View Into My Life - My Bedroom

Hello. This might be a long post, but I wanted to tell you guys about my bedroom. This way you will know about me more. I want to do this, because I don't want to have a barrier between the readers of my blogs, I like it when my readers have some type of view into my life. I am not really a person who likes to isolate themselves from something like this. Each of my blogs, especially my Tumblr blogs have an insight of what I am like. Before I will begin I will tell you that my room in my mind is divided in categories. We have the book reading me have a ton of books in the bookshelf and inside the wardrobe, so much that the other books are in the living room/ dining room bookshelf. There is also the electronic me, with having a variety of electronic stuff, such as iPods, computers (yes plural), MP3's, iPhones, iPad, TV, PS3, DVD, cables (A LOT), water pump (for the fishes in the outside pond), cameras, etc. Part of my room is art and office supplies. There is a part with jewellery. The rest is memories. I told this before describing my room, so you guys will know the prominent features of it. So lets begin.

My bedroom is big, I think the biggest from the other bedrooms in my house. It has cream walls and the wall opposite the door has a large window. The window has cream curtains and some cute lantern lights and two wind chimes with butterflies. I have in my room this fluffy purple carpet and three other small identical carpets. People consider it messy, but honestly I don't think my bedroom is messy. I know where everything is placed. In my eyes it is organised and neat.
On my door, since a younger age (I don't take it down, because it reminds me of the past years) are stickers of dogs, butterflies, flowers, a name tag (says "GABI"), a suctioned monkey toy, a sticker from New Zealand and on the handle there are 2 ribbons. Once you come into my room you will straight forward see that everything is covered in something that is a memory (objects, stickers, posters, drawings, pictures, photos, etc.) On the corner of my room, next to the door, I have 3 small figurines of dogs and a black metal spider size of the palm of a hand (it creeps out people who see it), also a door stopper. On the back of the door there is a mirror with all of my photos with friends, family, me, etc.  The wall next to that has drawings on it, pinned items, etc. Opposite that wall there is more drawings, newspaper articles, etc on the wall of the wardrobe. In my room there is a built in wardrobe stretching out on the whole wall. Next to the door I have a bookcase with my favourite books, which are fantasy or crime books (the other bookcase with my books is in the living room/ dining room). On the bookcase in my room I usually keep different objects that I like (incense sticks, jars, candles, bookmarks, etc). Just next to the bookcase my everyday shoes are there (vans, flats, thongs), school books, camera, tissue box, etc. Next to the bookshelf there are two desks. Between those two items are canvases for art. My first desk has some of my office supplies, a cork board with a lot of different objects, candles, a cactus, Egyptian stuff, folders, books, lamp and jewellery. Under the desk there is a small bin, small chair, scrap paper. My second desk next to this one has jewellery and all my electronic equipment. Between those two desks there are different types of paper for art. Like the first desk, there is a cork board, but on this one I use it for notifications. Above that are 2 canvases with a heart and a Latte (I love coffee). Below it I have my favourite movies (horror, comedy, action). I put a shelf onto the desk so I could raise it a bit up for the TV (Toshiba) and under the shelf there is the DVD player. Next to that is the PS3 with an Angry Bird toy on it and a phone. There are some shelves on the desk, which have all my cables and other movies in them. Below the desk there are more jewellery boxes, notebooks and a small box organiser for important papers. Near that are the contacts for all cables I have a queen sized bed, facing the door. The thing is that this queen sized bed is not normal. Well what on it is not normal. My Mum bought mattresses, hoping I would throw out the mattress I had, but I didn't. I was too stubborn. There was no space to put the other mattresses so I put them underneath my one. Currently I have 3 mattresses and a ton of pillows and different covers. You will notice that I never make my bed. I got out of making the bed. Why would you make the bed if you will sleep in it a couple hours later? The bed posts have a dreamcatcher and other small decorations hanging. There is a bed side table with some of my decorations in the shelves, but on it I have a lamp and a iPod player. Next to the that I have a disc organizer, it always has on top of it the current book I am reading. Underneath my bed I have my old school books, boxes with items, other electronic stuff, etc. At the end of the bed, between the bed and wardrobe is a whiteboard for all my notes, a chair (has my everyday leather bag [showed it in my September favourites blog post] and who doesn't have that chair in their room just with a stack of clothes on it), a wooden painting thing (I don't know what it is called, but it has pretty words printed on the wood) and a exercise ball. On the wall that stretches across near the bed, opposite the desks are my drawings, decoration, photos, printed out pictures, a dream catcher. You can't forget that on some of my walls I draw on in pencil. On my wardrobe I have a lot of other drawings, photos, calendar, world map, collages, dartboard and a hook, which holds my three leather bags.

I think that would be about it. I love my bedroom, it's perfect. I don't really know how to end this, but I might of been confusing when describing my bedroom. Sorry about that. Here is some pictures of it....

MA15+ Movie - Lucy

I wanted to just do a post about what happened yesterday. Don't worry it's good news. Just so happy and want to document this moment. Yesterday I went to see my first MA15+ movie. Well technically I already saw many times movies which are rated like that, since already a couple years. This time it was special, because it was my first time that I was permitted in a cinema to watch one. Yes, only this year I turned 15 in June, but haven't gone to watch one since there wasn't any good MA15+ movies. Also it was a special day, because my Dad went with me to the movies, something that he didn't do with me since a very young age. We saw the movie 'Lucy'. Both loved it and recommend it.
The plot is about a woman who is accidentally caught in a dark deal, turns the tables on her captors and transforms into a merciless warrior evolved beyond human logic. It is 1 hour and 30 minutes long. Also there is Scarlett Johansson and Morgan Freeman as actors. Excellent.
Trailer of the movie is below.

Monthly Favourites: September 2014

Hello. I wanted to try something different. I saw many people doing it on Youtube, such as CutiePieMarzia. I thought that maybe I could try it out. It is, like it says in the title, 'monthly favourites'. I'll try to keep this going, but if it won't work out, I am sorry.
This month, September, I had a lot of favourites, but I only picked my top ones.
A couple days ago I went with my family to the Dalwood Jumbles Sale. I like going there because a lot of unique items can be found. I bought this glass jar with a cork lid, which to some people it is nothing special, but I like it. This jar can be used to multiple purposes and being glass, it is easy to clean. What I like about it, is that it is made from recycled glass and made in Spain. This gives the jar a different look.
I also bought a couple weeks ago a new handbag, which I absolutely adore. I love it. It is the Colorado Belt Tote. To be specific I bought it in Strandbags, which is where I buy most of my handbags, because it is my favourite shop to buy handbags from. The dimensions are 31cm (H), 35cm (W) and 10cm (D). It is made out of leather, has a secure zip closure, internal pockets and multiple compartments. If you would like to buy for yourself this bag, the link is below.

I also read in September many books, my favourite would be the series, which is called 'The Mediator' by Meg Cabot. All together there are 6 books in the series, the author also wrote a short story with it, it on her website (the link is below). I also heard, it says also on her website, that in 2015 she is publishing the 7th and last book of 'The Mediator' series. (CAN'T WAIT!!!) So sorry, I took this from the writers website, but here is what the series is about.
"Suze Simon has a problem: She's been able to see and speak to ghosts all her life. Things have gotten especially bad now that her mom has remarried and Suze has three new stepbrothers...and a very sexy guy hanging out in her bedroom. Too bad the guy's been dead for a hundred and fifty years."
The link from where I got the description is below.

Next on my list of favourites this month is the game on the App Store, Asphalt 8. It is the best arcade racing game from what I have played. You can perform dynamic, high-speed aerial stunts in an intense driving experience. What I love about it is the awesome quality, easy to control the cars, also there is a lot of cars to choose from. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys these types of games.

Lastly, I completely loved the movie 'Warm Bodies'. I loved it that much that I have watched it twice in a row and another time the day after. It is classified as a comedy, romance and horror (since I am not afraid easily, I thought personally that it didn't seem like horror). The movie is about a highly unusual zombie, which saves a living girl from an attack, the two of them form a relationship that sets in motion events that might transform the entire lifeless world. I also found out recently, that there is a book, by Isaac Marion. Trailer below.

5 Ways To Make Someones Day

Two: Listen
Three: Go above and beyond
Four: Smile
Five: Give someone chocolate

Should I Wash My Hair Today?

This is just a picture I found whilst scrolling through Tumblr, which I think is very clever and useful, if someone is not quite sure if they should wash their hair.

12 Makeup Essentials That Every (College) Girl Should Own

This list is not only for college girls, but it is mostly aimed at that particular group.
Whether you're a makeup novice or have been experimenting with cosmetics for years, it's crucial to have a collection with makeup essentials that will allow you to create a go-to everyday look. The following list is also great for those creating a "starter" set of makeup, which is perfect for beginners or those departing for their first year of college.
The list is split into four categories: Face, Eyes, Lips and Tools.

Face:
1. Primer
A primer minimises pores and created a smooth base perfect for the rest of your makeup application. This is a step you can skip if your skin is naturally flawless, but if you have any imperfections, it's a fabulous product that will make your skin look amazing.
2. Foundation
There are so many different kinds of foundation on the market that everyone can find something their skin type and shade. If your don't have a favourite foundation already, it's easiest to start our with a line like True Match or Tru-Blend, because they have so many shades it will be a breeze to find your match. If you have acne-prone skin, consider Neutrogena's Skin Cleaning line and for sensitive skin, check our bareMinerals foundation.
3. Blush or Bronzer
Some consider blush to be a non-negotiable makeup item. A swipe of colour on your cheeks is natural and created a healthy glow. In the middle of finals, a quick swipe of blush will leave you looking awake instead of like you just spent all night in the library. If your skin is naturally more tan, a bronzer during the warmer months gives you a sun-kissed look without the damages of tanning. It's best to apply bronzer (with a large, fluffy brush) where sun naturally hits your face - a curved "C" shape on each side of your face from your forehead to your cheek bone and just dab your nose.
Eyes:
4. Mascara
A black or dark brown mascara is essential for any everyday look. It's the quickest way to make your eyes pop. Popular ones include L'Oreal Voluminous, but Maybelline Great Lash and CoverGirl LashBlast are other CF reader faves.
5. Eyeliner
Eyeliner can be applied in many ways to define your eyes. A classic black shade is a necessity for most skin tones; if your have fair skin, opt for a dark-brown. Also, light to medium skin tones should consider a dark nay, because the blue makes the whites of your eyes pop; therefore, making you look more awake. I suggest mechanical eyeliner pencils, because they are self sharpening, letting you skip a step.
6. Brow Pencil
Unless you're blessed with dark, perfectly even eyebrows, you should seriously consider adding a brow pencil to your makeup collection. Brow liners can be used to define and fill-in-sparse eyebrows if you accidentally over-puck them. A defined eyebrow is necessary for anchoring a smokey-eye look and accentuates the natural features of your face.
7. Eyeshadow
For your basic makeup collection, it's a good idea to have some natural tan, taupe and off-white eyeshadow shades. these shades are perfect for an everyday school as well as work, look. Nearly all drugstores beauty brands manufacture eyeshadow sets with multiple shades in them. There are perfect for a makeup novice, because it takes all the guess work out of finding complementary shades to highlight and define your eyes.
Lips:
8. Lip Balm
As most of you probably know, a great balm does wonders for keeping your lips smooth and healthy especially during those harsh winter months. Stock up on several lip balms so you can store them in your purse and backpack too, for easy reapplication.
9. Lip Gloss or Stain
Glosses are the clear winner over lipsticks for college students. They have a sheer, natural look and are so much easier to apply than a lipstick. A swipe of gloss is the perfect finishing touch for any look. For longer-lasting wear, you might opt instead for a lip stain which will last through all your classes without touch-ups.
Tools:
10. Brushes
It's easiest and most cost-effective to stock up on brushes all at once by purchasing a brush set. Look for a set with a large powder brush, a slightly smaller brush for contouring and several brushes for shadow and liner application. It's a good idea to invest in some quality brushes, because as long as you clean them regularly, they will last you a long time. If you're not convinces, try applying some shadow with a cheap quality brush then again with one of higher quality - you will see an obvious difference.
11. Tweezers
For all the obvious reasons. Common are the Tweezerman tweezers, which work the best.
12. Q-tips
These are great for smudging eyeliner and soaking in makeup remover for quick touch ups. Even better, they're super inexpensive.

5 Tips For Leather Care

Tip 1: If leather gets too met, dry it slowly. Speed drying leather changes its chemical structure and you end up with stiff crinkle cut chaos. So room temperature with gentle air works better than direct heater time and hair dryer. Keep it in the shape you want it to end up.

Tip 2: If leathers gets too dry, rub something moist into it. Pick a leather dressing or cream, preferably recommended by the maker. Leathers can have paints, waxes, oils and all sorts of things applied to their surface, so you probably want to pick something similar to how it came.

Tip 3: If leather gets dirty, just use a damp cloth. You don't want t be putting any soaps or foreign substances in there.

Tip 4: Leather stretches out, but not back. If you start to overfill a wallet, it will never really return to its former taut self. If you stretch a leather bag when wet or very humid, it will move even faster. Just lear to carry the right amount and this takes care of itself.

Tip 5: Don't wrap it in plastic. It needs a tiny bit of air. What you are really trying to stop is any mildew growth, so keep some ventilation going.
